Congratulations you two! ****************** GP News ****************** Alan Catalan, CEO of Going Platinum, posted some great graphics on the bulletin board last week! We did not realize that Bubba Bucks had a wife and children! Alan stated these were some older graphics so I do not suppose that we will be seeing those actual graphics later. But I am sure Alan and staff will have some very cool similar ones! The GP sweat shirts and t-shirts are very cool also. We were able to not only see the shirts but view Jazz's wife and some other staff members modeling them! Great photos and if you did not see them you can find them in the new member forum at GP. Patience is a Virtue! Some of us have it and some of us do not! We are all hanging in there and I do certainly believe it is going to be worth every moment of the wait! Members are addicted to not only the Bulletin Board at GP and the great information and fun there but they are also addicted to Alan! There are hundreds of thousands of ezines to choose from about every subject imaginable: Cats, dogs, gardening, politics, business, e-commerce, internet marketing etc, you name, it’s there. People subscribe to ezines because they’re interested in the information, tips and articles provided. Subscribers to ezines about antiques are obviously interested in antiques. That makes antique ezines the logical place to advertise if your website sells anything to do with antiques. You won’t get a more targeted audience than that. Don’t place an ad about dog collars and a free e-book about dogs in a wireless technology ezine. The ad will flop badly. Place it in an ezine about dogs! Good ezine ads include: An attention-grabbing headline, benefits, a link to your website and email, and offer something for free, (tips etc). Well placed ezine ads target the right people who are only a click away from your website. Learn how to write good ezine ads by applying the AIDA principle: A= Attention I= Interest D= Desire A= Action "Attention" is created by a powerful benefit headline that causes readers to look at your offer. Notice how you flick through newspapers and are drawn in by headlines that appeal to you? Creating "Interest" and "desire" is the heart of your ad. What benefits, freebies etc are you offering to your readers? The purpose of interest and desire is to get the reader to take "action" by logging on to your website or sending an email. Summing up: Advertise in ezines that target people interested in your products or services. Sell information products that can be delivered instantly to your target market. Write powerful ads that get read and bring hits to your website. Apply these principles to whatever your business sells online, and you will succeed in ezine advertising.
